We have a sitch people. A wonderful superhero casting sitch.
Kim Possible, our favourite crime-fighting cheerleader will be backflipping onto our screens again soon.
Casting for the Kim Possible live-action Disney Channel original movie has begun and we can’t wait to hear who lands the roles of teen hero Kim (who made cargo pants and a crop top work like nobody else could) and her bestie and BF in later series, Ron Stoppable.
We’ve put together a short guide to some of the characters so you can start thinking about who you’d like to be cast in the new movie.
We think Sabrina Carpenter would make a great Kim. She can already rock the KP style, and seems to be quite the fan based on last year’s Twitter post. Sabrina, call us beep us if you want to reach us!

She claims to be just “your basic average girl” – who’s definitely not basic btw – balancing school, homework, cheerleading practice, crushes, babysitting, twin brothers and saving the world with sass, wit, determination and great dance moves (of course).
Sweet but a little goofy, Ron is full of energy and excitement and comes up with lots of plans to help Kim… although usually the plans are actually more troublesome than helpful. He and his sidekick Rufus, a smart and overly-expressive naked mole rat, always have KP’s back.
Shego is one of Kim’s arch enemies. As the evil scientist Dr Drakken’s equally evil assistant, Shego is superbly skilled in the areas of sabotage, kidnapping, infiltration and fashion burns. Basically, Shego is the anti-Kim, just as fabulous and very good at being very bad.
You can get your fix of Kim Possible as Disney Channel will be rolling out four episode blocks on Monday February 19th and Sunday February 25th from 8.20pm.
